Chuck stated in the confessional that Andrei has never disrespected them this way back in the States. He feels that since Andrei is in his home country, he feels more entitled to behave this way. On the other hand, he also thinks that this is his true face.

When Elizabeth’s brother put her through a difficult situation by holding her accountable for Andrei’s actions, she has an interesting answer. She added that they both were cussing at each other and that she is giving Andrei the benefit of the doubt.
But Chuck is taking his son’s side and has made it pretty clear that he won’t back down. He made it clear that Charlie will tell Andrei how he feels about him. Charlie too confirmed that even if it comes to a physical fight, he won’t be the one to back down. He even went a step ahead saying that he doesn’t care whether everyone in Moldova is afraid of Andrei.
Elizabeth said that Andrei has never hidden anything from her. He has been transparent with her about most of the things. She tried to explain that he is being bent out of shape because people have been asking too much about his past.

Elizabeth admitted that he has been a little chauvinistic since they arrived in Moldova.
