In the previous episode, the couple had an argument about planning kids and their future. In the latest episode, Ed stated that they were in a good place. But he didn’t tell Rose that he doesn’t want any more kids during that time. But he ended up informing Rose that he had two appointments for vasectomy which he canceled before the trip.
She replied by saying that she has always wanted two kids. It also made her upset realizing that if she wanted to be with Ed, Prince wouldn’t have any siblings. But Ed stated that he really doesn’t want to expand his family anymore. He offered Rose his love and clearly mentioned that he has enough money to take care of her and Prince.

Rose took off for a while and Ed was confused as to what to do. But when Rose came back, ED apologized for not being truthful enough. He stated that he should have said something before. But when they sat down to clear things up, it seemed like Rose was full of it. When Ed said that he wanted them to make sure they are compatible, she pointed out all the ways Ed had made her feel awful.
She stated that Ed embarrassed her about taking the STD test. Moreover, he pointed out her not-so-pretty breath when he knew about her ulcer. He also lied to her about his height before he went to meet her in person. She concluded her statements by saying that she doesn’t think he loves her and stated that she is done!

It seems like the relationship is done. They both want different things in life and Rose is pretty much convinced that Ed doesn’t love her. It’s something she is likely to find very hard to recover from. But over all this time, Big Ed has been showing traits that make him come across as a control freak.
