Let us take a look at the new names in the franchise and what the viewers are saying.
New Discovery Plus 90 Day Fiance Spinoffs
The new home for 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Strikes Back is going to be Discovery Plus. Joining it would be 90 Day Bares All and 90 Day Diaries. Shaun Robinson, the host of Bares All revealed that the show covers the occurrings that were too bold for TV. 90 Day Fiance stars are going to leave all censorship behind and will be able to speak their hearts out. As for the 90 Day Diaries, we’ll see our favorite reality TV stars navigate through life amid the pandemic. Fans will also get to watch a self-filmed version to gain a deeper insight.
Another spinoff called 90 Day Journey compiles a mini-series of all the couples that have appeared on the franchise. Fans can watch their favorite couple’s journey in the 90 Day Universe from the beginning to the end. The Other Way Strikes Back will feature the sassiest, most outrageous, and cringe-worthy moments of The Other Way season 2 that the cameras weren’t able to capture.
Fans Give Opinions On Not Being Able To See Their New Favourite Shows On Cable Television
Discovery Plus is a relatively new streaming service that will comprise 30 reality shows that won’t be available on cable TV. This will include four new shows from the 90 Day Fiance franchise. Fans have an issue with paying extra money in the form of $5 each month for Discovery Plus with ads and $7 per month without ads. The launch of the streaming service subscription will take place on 4th January 2021.
Most viewers accused TLC of making extra bucks by using the 90 Day Fiance fan base. Some mentioned that TLC’s treatment towards their loyal fanbase should definitely be better than this. Some angry fans have made it clear that they won’t subscribe to the brand new service. Users also find it ridiculous that they are taking a network TV show and making it a streaming show only audience from the US can watch. Some fans are worried that TLC will also put Pillow Talk and Tell All episodes on Discovery Plus. Calling this tactic money grab, most viewers accused TLC of being greedy.
90 Day Fiance Fans Are Tired Of Paying For Streaming Services
Netflix users have skyrocketed since the coronavirus pandemic hit the world and National lockdowns in place in most countries. So, fans are already paying for streaming services and are tired. This new move from the network also means that there won’t be any new episodes of Pillow Talk or Tell All on cable TV. Do you think the anger of fans is justified? Let us know in the comments below.
