The Potthast family has always been in light because of the feuds between them. And once again, the family ceases the light during pride month. Elizabeth recently took to Instagram to slam her mother’s homophobic comment. Libby uploaded a video in her Instagram stories where she clearly mentioned disagreeing with her mother’s thoughts. The star stated, “I wanted to address something really quickly about a recent post that one of my family members decided to make about the rainbow and about pride.” Well, it was only her mother, Pamela Putnam, who made such a comment.
Elizabeth wanted to clear the air for her fans that she disagrees with her mother’s thoughts. Moreover, the star found her mother’s statement to be “very insensitive.” Elizabeth even checked on all those who were hurt by her mother’s message and hoped them to be okay. Andrei’s wife said, “Love is love, and that’s that.” It looks like Elizabeth stands firm beside the LGBTQ+ community. The star felt it necessary to speak against her mother’s word so as not to get categorized under one umbrella.

She even attended Libby’s wedding with Andrei. However, it seems that Libby’s mother has a different idealogy than hers.
The talent agent posted amidst pride month saying, “Rainbow… A promise of God, not a symbol of pride.” The star further claimed that as per Genesis 9:13-17, the true meaning of Rainbow is God’s promise and not pride. And to avoid all the backlash, she turned off the comment on this post. Well, she obviously had the intuition about being bad-mouthed for such a post.
But fans are fans. They can pour their heart out, anywhere, on any platform. So they took it to the Reddit thread to slam Pamela for her homophobic post. One wrote, “Libby’s family gives me real toxic vibes. So, I’m like…not shocked.” “Good things she’s so irrelevant that she’s never on the show,” a fan commented.
