It seems a little loss of control is going to cost a lot for 90 Day Fiance star Ashley. If the judge’s decision is not in Ashley’s favor, she might have to take a break from filming. She has criminal mischief charges over her head in which there is a possibility of a two-year prison sentence. She threw a fire extinguisher at Jay’s window. Apparently, she lost her temper, and that hit Jay’s friend. Let’s take a look at what happened in detail.
Ashley Threw a Fire Extinguisher At Jay’s Window
Ashley has conducted a simple assault under a misdemeanor. She is also responsible for committing criminal mischief for damaging another person’s property. Since the incident occurred, it has been in the news. The estranged couple narrated their respective sides of the story in a live session with John Yates. Ashley said that Jay possessed some of her belongings including her son’s play station.
He borrowed it and never returned it back. When Ashley knocked on the door, he didn’t answer it. When a friend of Jay’s said that his wife is on the door, he called her names and that pissed Ashley off. In the live session, Jay said that he didn’t open the door because he didn’t expect anyone to arrive. Ashley was getting worked up. When she just couldn’t take it anymore, she picked up a fire extinguisher and threw it at Jay’s window.
According to Jay, the fire extinguisher hit one of his friends in the head. He called the cops and things escalated from there. When the entire incident received so much hype, Ashley revealed that Jay is setting her up. She mentioned that Jay’s immigration lawyer has said that he needs to prove her abusive. That’s his chance to stay in the States.
90 Day Fiance: Ashley Wants Jay Charged
In an interview West Shore Police Chief, revealed to After Buzz TV, Ashley wants them to charge Jay as well. However, it seems that for that day, the police don’t have anything to charge Jay for. Ashley’s preliminary hearing is on August 28th at 10 AM and she could be charged for upto 2 years in prison. In the meantime, Jay and Ashley have been busy living their lives. He has been busy posting pictures of his tattoos. Ashley recently went on a cruise.
Ashley is not the only one caught in legal hassles. When she was on a vacation, Jay broke into her house. The police suggested her to file for a PFA and she did. However, Jay broke the law by discussing the PFA on social media. Even though the judge dropped the charges, Jay is under the custody of the ICE.
