Fans are familiar with Ariela’s reaction when they saw the apartment Biniyam picked. Not to mention, her mom’s reaction was also pretty strong. However, one fan wrote an email to the famous 90 Day Fiance blogger Sharrell stating that 90 Day Fiance has totally misrepresented Ethiopia. Let’s take a look at this in detail.
90 Day Fiance: TLC Portraying Stereotypes, Misrepresenting Ethiopia?
According to a fan, 90 Day Fiance has been misrepresenting Ethiopia. Plus, the place where Biniyam lived is a developed town. Not only does it has basic amenities, but the place also looks nothing like what they showed on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. This gives rise to the speculation that TLC is producing a fake storyline and Ariela and Biniyam are just playing dumb.
The fact that Biniyam has been to the US before means that he has the money to buy an expensive plane ticket. Plus, Ariela being surprised at the apartment doesn’t make much sense either. She has been in Ethiopia long enough to get an idea of the neighborhoods. Plus, Biniyam is a dancer, personal trainer, artist, etc. It looks like he has a decent flow of income and TLC is just exaggerating.
Here is Why The Living conditions Appalled Ariela’s Mom
Ariela’s mom is a nurse, so she knows what she is talking about when it comes to examining whether a place is safe for a pregnant woman to stay. There was water sitting still in one of the water bottles. Biniyam told them that they have the water replaced every 2-3 days and used leaves to clean the bottle. It was a shock to Ariela’s mom that they didn’t use soap for cleaning and that sitting water can attract germs and mosquitoes.
The bathroom looked grim which her mother thought wasn’t safe or sanitary for her daughter. There was loose wiring in the nursery hanging from a wall which without a doubt is unsafe. Her family had concerns about Ariela giving birth to her child in Ethiopia. It looks like their worst fears are coming true. Even Ariela felt sick after looking at the place.
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Is TLC Creating Fake Drama?
If the living condition is real, Ariela should probably rethink her decision of not giving birth to her baby in the US. But there is a chance that TLC is cooking up the storyline to instigate drama. What do you think is going on here? Let us know in the comments below.
