According to the preview clip, Amy is nervous to face her family and friends after adopting a new look. She says that they are going to freak. Once she enters the room, everyone starts cheering for her. Amy is wearing a beautiful black dress and is looking pretty.
Tammy’s reaction at the confessional is not what one would expect from a sister. She complains about her sister being late for the party. She reveals that she has lost a hundred pounds. Amy admits that there is still a long way to go. But she is really proud of herself.
1000 Lb Sister: Amy Pays a Visit To The OBGYN
After her massive weight loss, Amy decided to go to her OBGYN to ask her whether there is anything now that can prevent her from conceiving. She expresses her intense desire to be a mother. The doctor asked her how much weight she has lost and how much more she intends to lose.
Amy said that she will try to lose 100 more. So, she began to tell her about how the fat cells generate estrogen and compromise the working of the ovaries. The doctor said that as she drops weight, the chances of her fertility goes up.
Amy revealed that she is happy that she can hope to have a child someday. This is something she gave up on as she thought that she would never become a mom because of her weight. The doctor told her to come back again after six months to check her progress. After that, they will discuss whether it’s time to start trying.
1000 Lb Sisters: Amy’s Mom Had Some Really Nice Words To Say
Amy’s mom said that she is really proud of what she has done. She also added that with her hair all done, she looks like her grandma. Amy stated that she wishes her grandmother was here. Later, in the confessional, she mentioned that it was nice to hear her mom applauding her.

Initially, when Amy qualified for bariatric surgery and Tammy didn’t, she blamed it all on her. According to Tammy, Amy went for a walk all by herself and no one took Tammy when she asked. Amy put her back in place and clearly stated that she had no right to blame anyone else.
However, when Amy underwent her surgery and was recovering, Tammy paid her sister a visit at the hotel she was staying post-surgery. Amy’s progress is indeed impressive. We hope to see her achieve her weight loss goals and live a happy and healthy life in the future!
