The BBC One soap always has had the best villains. While we are on the subject, one of the best villains of EastEnders will always be Andy Hunter. The 62-year-old Michael Higgs used to play Andy on the show, and the actor recently shared a glimpse and he is unrecognisable.
Furthermore, the actor looks very different from how he used to look back in the day. Higgs recently sported his new silver fox look, and his latest appearance is very different from that of the dark-haired, suave young man.
His character was known to create chaos in Walford, and he played Andy from 1993 to 2005. Long-time viewers know that he began his job at the firm, and he took it over in 2003 after Denise killed Jack. Furthermore, we know that his alter-ego used to create a lot of mess, including him dating Kat Slater. But later ends up marrying Sam Mitchell.
We know that Paul Trueman reported him to the police, and in return, he was killed by a hitman. Moreover, Andy also got involved with Johnny Allen and murdered him by pushing him off a flyover.
After EastEnders, Higgs was seen in Silent Witness, Casualty and Midsomer Murders. As for his personal life, he is married to Caroline Catz, who used to play Louisa Glasson in Doc Martin.
In addition, the couple met in the 90s and have been together ever since. They tied the knot in 1998 and have two beautiful kids, Sonny and Honour.
