The August 27 episode of Welcome To Plathville shows Olivia recounting her first date following her divorce from her ex-husband, Ethan Plath. The reality star reveals that she went out with a “friend of a friend” on her first date. The pair spend their time exploring a couple of bars, some live music, and having some drinks.
In a surprising turn of events, the guy then proceeded to ask Olivia, “Do you want to go home and meet my cat?.” During a private confessional, Olivia confesses that she wasn’t aware that this was a code for something else. She further explained that he had been mentioning his cat “all night long.” And the Welcome To Plathville star’s love for cats made her curious about his pet.
After crashing at his place, Olivia realized what the cat invite really meant. However, she appeared to have no regrets. The reality star did meet his cat for about a minute and ultimately decided to spend the night at his place. Overall, Olivia admitted that it was a “good date.” She also praised the guy, calling him a “lovely gentleman.” Olivia confessed to feeling new to the dating scene by describing her first date.
“The first date was like being thrown into the deep end and realizing that I didn’t know how to swim,” she explains. Despite having a decent date, Olivia vowed not to date in Los Angeles anymore, expressing her interest in long-distance relationships.
Explaining her decision, Olivia noted that it is a great way to have fun when she’s traveling while also not being able to see them every day. This will prevent her relationship from taking over her personal life.
