Moriah Plath is one of the most troublesome Welcome To Plathville castmates. She recently talked about having Alopecia as a kid. During the fourth episode of Season 5, “Life’s But a Walking Shadow,” she shared about her painful past.
While talking to the cameras in the September 26 episode, Moriah revealed that she was just three years old when she lost her hair for several years, including eyebrows and eyelashes. The Welcome To Plathville star then talked about her diagnosis and how it impacted her confidence.
Plath shared that her doctor said it was a rare kind of alopecia for her hair to fall out altogether. She continued that she was made fun of everywhere she went, even at her home, by her siblings. Moriah also considered herself different during that time.
During a conversation with her dad, Barry, she admitted that once her hair was back, she refused to talk about it. Moriah tried to forget it, perhaps like a bad dream. The TLC starlet then confessed that she was angry with her parents for they could not fix her bald head. Barry soon responded that they were helpless.
Talking about her losing confidence, Moriah admitted that she would often look into the mirror and say that she was ugly and that no one would love her. During the confessional, she admitted that her love for fashion has helped her cope with the rough patches of her life. She also confronted that she still relies on fashion to provide her comfort.
Welcome To Plathville: Moriah Got Baptised Again!
Moriah Plath was earlier Baptized at the age of eight. In the Welcome To Plathville September 12 episode, she discussed with her father her desire to get baptized again. During a confessional, she shared that hitting rock bottom resulted in her inclination towards religion. The reality TV celeb also took to her Instagram on September 21 to share a personal clip of getting baptized by her father, Barry.
In this clip, Moriah and Barry stood in the waterbody to baptize her. She even took to the caption of this post to share her emotions. She wrote that she searched for freedom all her life. The Plath sibling added that she often found herself trapped and lost until she realized that happiness lies within. Moriah then confessed that she had accepted ‘Jesus as my savior.’
