The Plaths are back with their show, Welcome To Plathville. After Kim and Barry’s divorce, the show has taken an interesting turn. Moriah Plath has remained in the limelight for being the talented one from the family. Fans have seen her musical side and always remain in awe of her for pursuing her dreams. However, things weren’t always this way for the Welcome To Plathville star.
In the recent episode of Season 5, she had a heart-to-heart conversation with her father, Barry Plath. That’s when she mentioned “hitting rock bottom.” It happened a couple of months ago, from the day they were shooting for the show.
Well, the Welcome To Plathville star mentioned that she went into the “dark phase” because of the family drama, possibly talking of Kim and Barry’s divorce. At the same time, Moriah expressed being in a distasteful bond with her sister-in-law, Olivia. Initially, fans thought she was referring to the fiasco about her mother, Kim Plath, stealing money from Ethan’s card.
However, Moriah mentioned that her brother’s wife also stole music from her that they had worked on together. Since then, she hasn’t had a bond with Olivia and even blocked Ethan. Things got so bad for Moriah that she didn’t want to live anymore. It was quite hard for the young Welcome To Plathville star to be confessing such grave things from her life.
On the other hand, her father, Barry, listened patiently. He somewhat understood where Moriah was coming from. He also talked about having some understanding of depression. But their conversation ended on a good note when Moriah admitted to being closer than ever with her dad and Barry having her back no matter what.
Welcome To Plathville: Moriah Wants To Get Baptised! Feels Closer To God After Hitting Rock Bottom
During Moriah’s heavy conversation with her father, she makes another interesting confession. After admitting to not wanting to live, she began feeling closer to god after hitting rock bottom. It was the one thing that gave her strength to keep fighting and going.
The star then declared to her father about getting baptized. Moriah explained while she and all her siblings did get baptized as kids, it wasn’t out of choice. Hence, she wanted to do it this time around consciously. Well, Moriah’s father was thrilled at this news.
He admitted that he hoped his kids would find their way back to the lord, and his daughter did so. Hence, the patriarch called the whole thing “awesome.” Fans also got a glimpse of Moriah’s confident side in the trailer as well.
