Welcome To Plathville: Ethan Plans On Confronting His Parents
In the PEOPLE exclusive sneak peek of the Season 2 finale, we see Than speaking to his wife, Olivia, about his family. He says that he’s now ready to go and talk to his parents about their behavior. Additionally, he is keen on visiting Plaths to bid goodbye to the entire family. Later, Ethan shared in his confessional that the couple was restricted to meet his sibling after they last saw Isaac. That was when they decided to find their own space.
Ethan Wants To Set The Record Straight With Plaths
The video clip features Ethan sitting and holding a picture and handwritten note from Isaac. With Olivia beside him, he says that he wants to see his parents and siblings. He further adds that they’re soon moving out of Cairo. Thus, he wants to go and bid farewell to his family. Additionally, Ethan mentions that he let his parents ‘walk over’ him and Olivia. With this one encounter, he wants to make sure that this does not happen again.
Ethan And Olivia Are On A No-Contact Basis With Plaths
We already know that Olivia and Ethan are on a ‘no-contact basis with his parents.’ The couple is staying away from the family and does not maintain any contact. Back in October, Olivia shared that the couple needed their own space to mend their relationship and themselves. Thus, they chose to move out of the Plath household and live separately.
Olivia and Ethan tied the knot in October 2018. After Olivia entered the Plath family, things go downhill. Kim and Barry have believed that their daughter-in-law is a bad influence on their children. She’s responsible for the elder ones to rebel against the family. That created tension in the family, and later, Ethan moved out with his wife.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Olivia explained that it was best that the couple moved out of the Plath household. Now they’re focusing on their growth, and that’s important. Also, Olivia is back to concentrate on her personal business and is happy about it.
