Marlon (Mark Charnock) of Emmerdale is hiding a big secret from wife Rhona (Zoe Henry). Gus has returned to the Dales with shocking news. Rhona is terrified by the news, but little does she know is her husband already knows it all. Alan McKenna, the actor who portrays Gus Malcolm, joined the ITV Soap earlier this year. He appeared in the show to request from his ex-wife for permission to use one of her frozen eggs. Now, he’s back with his present wife, Lucy, but he has crossed all the boundaries this time. Emmerdale: Gus And Lucy Are Back With A Baby Shock!
Gus came back to Emmerdale earlier this year in order to seek Rhona’s to use one of her embryos. He was desperate to have a child with his wife, Lucy. In the recent episodes, Marlon bumped into Gus and heavily pregnant Lucy at the hospital. Hen was shocked and curious. Eventually, he discovered Gus had stolen one of Rhona’s embryos. Gus’ wife, Lucy, manipulated him into thinking it would be the best option to protect Rhona.
Later, he hints to Rhona that he bumped into Gus and pregnant Lucy. Rhona is terrified by the news of both Gus’ and Marlon’s heartbreaking betrayal. She consults Ethan, who advises her not to get into legalities as it wouldn’t be worth the fight. Marlon convinces Rhona to speak to Gus. Mary arranges a meeting for them, but Gus doesn’t show up. Rhona decides to head to his house, where she catches him packing suitcases to make a sharp exit. While Rhona confronts him, Lucy arrives, and the two women have a confrontation that escalates. Later, Lucy doubles over in pain as her waters have broken. Rhona is forced to drive her to the hospital.
In a conversation, Emmerdale star Zoe Henry said, “It’s hell because he’s lied and he’s stolen.” She continued, “Of course, he’s just gone ahead and done it anyway, and that’s a fraud. Reflecting on the moment Rhona drives Lucy to the hospital, she explained that Rhona is a caring person in general.
