TLC Unexpected: All About The New & Old Couples On Season 6
The network has officially announced a season 6 for its show. It is returning after two years, so fans are excited. The trailer promised more parenting adventures, “early parenthood,” and a “challenging relationship between the family members.” TLC Unexpected Season 6 will premiere on June 6, and fans are excited to see the new cast.
The new season will have three new couples and two old ones. Beginning with the newer TLC Unexpected couples, Emalee and Nate are joining the cast this season. The former is an 18-year-old, self-proclaimed “cougar.” She also feels the need to mother her 16-year-old boyfriend Nate. Emalee also doesn’t “recommend getting pregnant in high school” as “it’s not for the week.” Nate struggles to choose between motocross and fatherhood.
Aniyah and Dakwon are also new this season. They have a baby, but they also have promise rings. But Aniyah’s mom believes “promises” are “not kept.” The pair also has a new fear as Aniyah gets a preeclampsia diagnosis. On top of that, she worries Dakwon might leave her after the baby is born. The last new couple is Graham and Kayleigh, and their story is definitely unique.
Graham and Kayleigh are 15, and the latter was a former cheerleader. But now, the TLC Unexpected pair has other things to deal with, like a baby and a long-distance relationship. They might live only 30 minutes away from each other, but neither knows how to drive. Along with this, they also have to deal with Kayleigh’s mom. She feels the relationship isn’t “good” for “either of them.”
TLC Unexpected: Two New Couples Return For Season 6
While there might be three new storylines this season, there are also two continuing ones. Two couples are returning in season 6. One of them is Jenna and JJ, and the other is Lawrence and Lilly.
Jenna is already a mom to four-year-old Luca. The TLC Unexpected star broke up with Luca’s father, Aiden, and is now with JJ. While Jenna doesn’t want to have another baby, JJ reveals they aren’t exactly “using protection” right now. In the next scene, fans see Jenna taking a pregnancy test and stressing about having two baby daddies in separate states.
The last couple is Lawrence and Lilly, parents to 16-month-old LJ. Lilly also had a daughter, Aliyah, from a previous relationship.
