Max has had a rough life. The star was surprised when his TLC Unexpected girlfriend, Chloe Mendoza, told him she was pregnant. But Max’s surprise soon turned into joy at finally having his own family.
However, those days are long gone as Max and Chloe broke up. Since then, Max has been a part of many court cases. He has been on the down low since 2020. But in 2024, he again got in some legal trouble for drug use and possession.
TLC Unexpected: Max’s Recent Arrest Charges Include Possession & Use Of Drugs
TLC fans know Max from the network’s show Unexpected. He was in a relationship with his then-girlfriend Chloe Mendoza, and the pair were expecting a child. But they soon broke up and lead separate lives now. While Chloe went on to pursue higher education, Max got into some shady situations.
Max’s previous arrest charges have been about domestic assault and theft. He went to prison in September 2020 and came out in January 2021. The TLC star has been relatively court-free since then. But Max might be back to square one now, as he has new arrest charges.
Reports revealed cops arrested Max on Tuesday, February 8, for multiple charges. The list has many charges, including possession/use of drug paraphernalia and a narcotic drug. Since we don’t know what drug he was using, we can’t exactly know the duration of the arrest. However, the legal list of narcotic drugs includes opium and its derivatives. There are also semi-synthetic substitutes like Fentanyl, OxyContin, Heroin, etc.
Drug possession is a felony. So, depending on the felony class, the jail time can vary anywhere between 3 years to 12 years and six months. But VINE reported that the cops booked the TLC Unexpected star on Thursday at 1:21 pm. They released Max the same day at 7:37 pm for his own recognizance.
TLC Unexpected: Max’s Previous Court Cases
This isn’t the first time Max had a run-in with the law. In February 2020, the TLC Unexpected star resisted a police officer while trying to steal a vehicle. Before that, he had a charge of domestic assault on him as well. He had allegedly assaulted Chloe Mendoza.
Max had also stolen a credit card, some casino vouchers, and cash from his friend’s sleeping grandmother in 2018. He then used all that to buy a meal at McDonalds and a mini fridge. The cops had arrested Max, and he had to serve three years of supervised probation, which began in September 2020.
After the court cases, Max continued his feud with his ex-girlfriend Chloe and her family. But it eventually died down. Then Max got a new girlfriend, Morgan. However, even these two fought, with Morgan accusing Max of physically abusing her. She even posted about it on social media. And now, Max is back to his old ways with court cases.
