EastEnders has just thrown the most unexpected twist our way! Theo Hawthorne may have just met the fate that he truly deserves after the atrocities he has pulled on the BBC One soap. However, we are a little worried for the one who has probably served him the said fate. For months now, wretched Theo has been stalking and terrorizing Stacey Slater. However, in the October 3, 2023, episode the vile man crossed all lines and attempted to rape Stacey.
Thankfully, Freddie arrived there in the nick of time and managed to save Stacey from Theo’s attack on EastEnders. The two got involved in a fist fight following the rescue. But what happened when Theo tried to protest and put the blame on Stacey for seducing him was shocking. Freddie unleashed all his pent up anger on Theo. He grabbed the iron Stacey was using earlier for chores, and started mercilessly clobbering the predator. It is to be noted that Freddie recently learnt the truth about his father Graham raping his mother Little Mo, which ultimately led to his conception.
Freddie had even confronted Graham over it on EastEnders, but his father flat out refused to accept his mistake. In fact, he tried to pin the blame on Mo. Perhaps this is why Freddie flew off the handle when Theo tried to blame Stacey the same way. Thus, unleashing hell on the teacher. On a similar note, we must point that Freddie’s choice of weapon was rather interesting and poignant. Long time viewers of the BBC One soap would remember a horrifying plot from back in the day involving Freddie’s mother.
Little Mo had once used a similar iron to hit her abusive husband Trevor Morgan when he was trying to hurt her on EastEnders. That was truly impeccable story telling and a stunning visual parallel. That being said, we wonder what will happen next! The episode ended on a cliff hanger, leaving Theo’s fate in the balance. Could he be dead? If yes, what would it mean for Freddie? The young man could end up in a daunting pile of legal trouble if that happens!
