Jack didn’t even know that he had a son until he reunited with his long-lost love Luan Volien.
Luan and Jack were a thing when he was a soldier in Vietnam. They broke up after the war got over. Later, Jack and Luan reunited and Jack found out about Keemo. However, Keemo resented his parents for abandoning him. But he forgave them after a while.
Soon after, Keemo had a relationship with a woman named Mari Jo Mason, who was his father’s ex-fiance. But, he broke up with her after he realized that she had hired a prostitute to seduce him.
More Keemo-related spoilers suggest that Keemo’s parents got married, and his mother died due to terminal illness. After his mother’s death, Keemo returned to Vietnam in 1996. The last mention of Keemo was when he sent a fax to Jack warning him about Mari Jo.

Jack started receiving mysterious text messages urging him to come to Los Angeles and was stunned when Phyllis traced the messages to an address and the name Hao Nguyen. He told her that Luan’s maiden name was Nguyen and Hao was her father’s name. The Young And The Restless speculation has it that Jack’s son Keemo might be resurfacing, and he might also bring his daughter as a new addition to the Abbott family.
