Recently, The Young And The Restless star Tricia Cast took a trip down memory lane. She shared a cute photo of her younger self with young Kristoff St. John. The photo dates back to 1979. Wondering how they both knew each other at a very young age. For those who don’t know, Tricia and Kristoff acted in The Bad News Bears as baseball players. Tricia played Amanda Wurlitzer in that sitcom, whereas St. John played Ahmad Abdul Rahim.
Coming to the photo, it has a sepia tint which is indeed giving a nostalgic vibe. The Young And The Restless actress, Tricia, donning a beautiful blue frock, has her arm around St. John. He is smiling and holding a red flower. In the caption, she added a hashtag, throwback Thursday. After Cast shared this sweet post, her co-actors, and fans showered her with comments. However, she already shared this picture on her Twitter in 2013, and St. John revealed details of this photo. He mentioned it was taken during an episode of The Bad News Bears titled “Dance Fever.”
Who knew these two childhood castmates would grow up and act in one soap again!? Their friendship came full circle, and boom, they acted in The Young And The Restless. Tricia Cast bagged the role of Nina Webster on Y&R in 1986. And Kristoff St. John portrayed Neil Winters in 1991. While Tricia continues to grace the screen with her presence, it is sad that we had to let go of Kristoff St. John.
He played the role of Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless. Sadly, the actor passed in his sleep due to a heart stroke in 2019.
