Y&R viewers keeping up with the soap know that Kyle recently popped up on the soap opera. He spoke to Jack on a video call, and viewers got to see him. Ever since we saw him, fans have been speculating that he would return. But, some insiders suggest that he isn’t the only one who would come back.
Given how the whole Jack Abbott storyline is moving forward, The Young And The Restless is bringing a mystery woman angle to the whole thing. While Jack has been able to meet Allie, he still hasn’t found out who is sending the cryptic messages.
Not only that, Y&R recently posted a promo video that also teases a mystery woman. So, it looks like someone from the past might resurface. As per some insiders, dead Diane Jenkins might wake up from her grave and return. It is possible that the person sending Jack all those texts could be Diane Jenkins.
Long time The Young And The Restless viewers would recall, Diane was that vixen type, and the soap can use her right now. Phyllis had a rivalry with Diane. So, if she returns, she will become a problem in Phyllis and Jack’s romance.
The last time viewers saw Diane was back in 2011 when Nikki Newman killed Diane in self-defense. However, getting killing is not usually enough for characters to die on the soap. So, we wouldn’t put it behind the soap to bring her back.
It is possible that Diane would return, and we would come to know that she was behind this whole mystery. Would Susan Walters step back in the role if Diane comes back? We will have to wait to know.
