One of these was his friends’ wedding, and the other one was the Daytime Emmys. The Young And The Restless actor says that he was looking forward to this, but it looks like he cannot make it. This is the first time in two years that the Daytime Emmy will be live. But, Thompson won’t be able to now.
Now coming to his part on The Young And The Restless, given that the actor has contacted the virus and will have to be quarantined, he will be off work too. Since Billy isn’t really a part of any big storyline right now, it doesn’t look like Y&R would recast the character just yet. There is a possibility that the writers might write Billy out for two weeks and resume the drama when he returns.
However, if something big comes up, it is also possible that someone else might fill in for him. Who could that be? We will have to wait to know.
