Soap Opera Digest confirms the news about Vilasuso’s departure, and this is all heartbreaking. While the exact date for his exit isn’t out yet, the insiders suggest that he will leave this spring.
The rumor mill about Vilasuso moving on from the soap had been making rounds for a few weeks now. But it looks like it wasn’t a rumor after all. Vilasuso’s exit is a done deal, and he might be leaving sooner than later. The Young And The Restless has not yet revealed anything about how the actor would leave, but this could be abrupt, assuming a recast isn’t in the works.
Y&R viewers keeping up with the soap know Vilasuso’s alter ego- Rey Rosales is involved in some very interesting storylines. While his romance with Sharon is a dead story, Chelsea has started obsessing over him. She has been dreaming of him and getting all hot and heavy around him.
