Jill Faces Unexpected Threats!
Coming back to the present day, Jill is understandably puzzled about Mamie investing in Chancellor-Winters, especially since Jill owns a big part of it. But in a recent episode of The Young And The Restless, Phyllis spilled the beans, Tucker also invested in Mamie’s Detroit company right before she acquired Victor’s stake in Chancellor-Winters. What’s surprising is that Mamie kept this deal a secret from her own family members.
In that same episode, Mamie and Nate talked about his future at Newman Enterprises. She straightforwardly told him that he won’t achieve his career goals there because he isn’t a blood relative. That’s why she encouraged him to come back to Chancellor-Winters. Even tough Nate says he is happy in his current job, and doubts Lily and Devon would welcome him back or value his opinion, Mamie insists he shouldn’t underestimate her ability to get things done.
Moreover, during their conversation, Mamie kept stressing over how Jill is unnecessary at Chancellor-Winters, despite being a co-owner. She firmly states that the business’s success is because of Lily and Devon, not Jill. Confused, Nate directly asks, “Aunt Mamie, are you trying to push Jill out? Is this a coup against her?” In reply, Mamie avoided confirming or denying Nate’s suspicions with a simple, “Nate, please.”
She sidestepped the idea and suggests that Jill might lose interest in the company, especially if she finds a “new man” in her life. Considering all this, it seems likely that Tucker and Mamie are teaming up to remove Jill from Chancellor-Winters. But the big question remains: how? After all, Jill is a co-owner, while Mamie only holds a minority stake in the company.
The Young And The Restless: Mamie And Tucker’s Plot To Oust Jill Exposed!
Fans suspect that Mamie’s casual mention of a “new man” in Jill’s life might indicate Mamie and Tucker’s scheme. They could hire someone to deceive Jill romantically, tricking her into financial trouble and compelling her to sell her Chancellor-Winters stake for money. Somehow, Mamie or Tucker might get the company shares, kicking out Jill. But it would probably be through someone else, not directly.
