Diane has done many questionable things in her past on The Young and The Restless. However, off-late she has really been sticking to the road of redemption. Not only is she trying to walk the straight and narrow, she is doing everything in her capacity to improve her bond with Jack, Kyle and Harrison. However, in the aftermath of Phyllis’ “death”, Diane gets arrested. The evidence Jeremy and Phyllis laid out are overwhelmingly against Diane.
Currently, it seems like the days ahead are very dark for Diane on The Young and The Restless, or so she feels. Thus, feeling depressed behind bars, she lets go of any hopes of having a happy future, and sort of accepts her fate. Later, when Jack visits her at the prison, she tells him that there is no hope for them, as she is nothing but trouble. Moreover., she tells him not to visit her again. Diane Breaks Up With Jack On The Young and The Restless, Jacks Refuses To Back Down
The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Diane’s loss of hope will lead her to break up with Jack. However, Jack Abbott will not accept Diane’s decision. He will try to encourage her and tell her that he will get her out of prison. Jack is convinced that Diane is innocent and has nothing to do with Phyllis’ death. Thus, he is willing to go to any extent to get the woman he loves out of prison. Moreover, he is willing to do everything in his capacity to keep her in his life.
On the other hand, Kyle, too, will feel convinced that his mother has nothing to do with Phyllis’ death on The Young and The Restless. Kyle’s stance might lead to more strain on his marital woes with Summer. After all, Summer feels certain that Diane is guilty of hurting her mother.
