We have good news for all The Young and the Restless fans! Mishael Morgan is coming back to reprise her role of Amanda Sinclair sooner than later. About two months back, Amanda’s storylines were only heating up when Mishael got an eye injury. Owing to the injury, the actress had to undergo an emergency surgery that meant her taking time off from the soap opera. Keeping the situation in mind, The Young and the Restless was forced to recast the role very quickly.
Very wisely, The Young and the Restless team brought in the seasoned and popular actress Karla Mosley from The Bold and the Beautiful to play the character. This switch between the characters was quite seamless because of Karla’s professionalism. She not only managed to capture Mishael’s cool attorney tee as she took on the case, but she also was able to bring in the same chemistry when she shared scenes with Bryton James’ Devon.
However, now, the good news is, Mishael Morgan is coming back. On April 22, the actress took onto her social media to post a picture. She was all dolled up like Amanda. In the same post, she announced that she is back filming for the soap opera. More than 3000 fans liked the post, and all of Morgan’s fans were quick to celebrate the news. One fan said that the show was never the same without her. Another fan says that they are very happy that Mishael’s Amanda and Devon would be back together now.
While Mishael has started shooting, spoilers suggest that Mishael’s episodes will start airing from Tuesday, June 1. That means until then; viewers will get to see Mosley playing Amanda. This comeback is indeed good news. However, Mosley will indeed be missed. The Young and the Restless airs on CBS all weekdays.
