And if the latest spoilers are to be believed, he indeed is alive and on his way back to Genoa City. However, this time when viewers get to see him, he will have a different face.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that actor Conner Floyd is coming to take over the role. While we don’t have any timeline on when he would join the soap, Soapssheknows.com suggests that he will make an appearance by the end of this month.
As for how Chance would look, given that he was just in a bombing and will come back traumatized, we can’t even make guesses on how he would look. But, whatever the case might be, this is a straightforward recast. So, we will have to see what happens next.
Chance’s character was earlier played by Donny Boaz. However, the actor left the soap in February 2021. When Boaz stepped down, Melissa Ordway’s (Abby) real-life beau Justin Gaston took on the role. They got married on-screen, and Chance and Abby were really happy. However, things suddenly changed when Chance told his wife that he had a low sperm count. And another day, he was gone.
Abby first thought that he needed some time to himself. However, later on, it was revealed that Chance had actually gone on a mission and wouldn’t come back anytime soon. Now, Chance is supposedly dead. But, thankfully, The Young and the Restless is bringing the character back.
Now, Y&R spoilers suggest that when Chance comes back, he will have some very interesting storylines to be a part of. Assuming that he returns with all his memories, he will come back to his wife and the kid she birthed through surrogacy. He will reconnect with his family and enjoy every bit of it.
If something else is to happen, there is a possibility that when Chance comes back, he might not remember anything. After all, he just dodged death. So, if that were to happen, the storyline would take an entirely new direction.
