Right now, The Young and the Restless has established that Chance is dead. However, that doesn’t seem like the truth. If the recent buzz is to be believed, Chance Chancellor is coming back. But instead of Donny Boaz, Conner Floyd will take on the role. Many of The Young and the Restless actors, including Melissa Ordway, have already started following Floyd. That seems like a hint that they have already welcomed Floyd into the Y&R family.
The Young and the Restless viewers who have been keeping up know that Abby recently came to know about Chance’s presumed death. Christine revealed that Chance’s building was bombed while he was undercover. They had found his heirloom watch. However, Abby doesn’t feel like Chance is dead. She argues that Chance wouldn’t wear that watch because it would make him identifiable while he is undercover. So, she still is hopeful about it. Abby believes that her connection with Chance is profound. And if something happened to him, she would know.
Not only this, Celebdirtylaundry.com reports that Amelia Heinle, who plays Victoria Newman on the soap opera, offered a hint through her Instagram. She had posted a picture that appeared to be Chance’s homecoming party at the Grand Phoenix. However, the actress has now deleted the picture, but it is a big easter egg indeed.
We are pretty sure that Chance Chancellor is on his way back, but it isn’t confirmed who will take on the role. All signs point towards Conner Floyd taking on the role.
