In a recent episode of The Young and The Restless, Nikki Newman mentioned a big celebration in Genoa City, The Bicentennial Party! The event has been name-dropped just in time to become part of the 50th Anniversary Celebrations. So if we had to take a guess, we would say that most of the characters returning would be back in GC to attend the glamorous affair! But who all from The Young and The Restless’ past can we expect to catapult to the present? Take a few guesses in your mind, and then read the list below to see how many you get right!
Michael Damian is the first name on the list! The fan-favorite actor recently made a fleeting visit to Genoa City to celebrate the holidays with his son, Daniel. Michael plays the character of rockstar, Danny Romalotti on The Young and The Restless, so perhaps he would bring back some rock n roll to the Bicentennial Party. Alongside Michael Damian, actress Patty Weaver will also be making an appearance. She played the character of Gina Roma, Danny’s sister. Looks like it’s going to be a massive family reunion for the Romalotti family!
Other names in the list include The Young and The Restless alums Veronica Redd, Barbara Crampton, and Tricia Cast. Veronica played the character of Mamie Johnson. She was famous for being the mother figure to the Abbott family between 1990-2004. Meanwhile, Barbara portrayed Leanna Love, a celebrity journalist. On the other hand, Tricia, as Nina Webster, was the quintessential bad girl of The Young and The Restless, but later reformed her ways. Tricia’s fantastic performance won her a Daytime Emmy Award.
So how many guesses did you get right? But then, the number doesn’t matter because seeing these commendable stars back on The Young and The Restless is a win in itself! We are so excited for their episodes to start airing. Are you as excited as us? Please tell us in the comments who you are most looking forward to seeing on the screen.
