First up is Ian Ward! He is a former cult leader who took advantage of Nikki when she was young. Later he showed up in Genoa City to cause trouble for her and the Newmans. The last time we saw him on The Young And The Restless was in 2016. That time police taking him to jail. It’s possible to imagine that Claire’s aunt Jordan fell for Ian’s charm, maybe even started a relationship with him.
We can picture a scenario where Jordan, guided by Ian, played a role in raising Claire on The Young and the Restless, who saw Ian as a father figure. When Nikki and the Newmans had Ian sent to prison, Jordan might have planned to get revenge for Ian and is now using Claire to make it happen.
Next up we have Nick Reed, Nikki’s abusive father on The Young And The Restless. Growing up both Casey and Nikki experienced abuse from their father. In the late 1970s, Nikki ended up killing him in self-defense. So we can’t help but wonder if Nick Reed had an affair with someone other than Nikki and Casey’s mother.
