The Family Chantel: Chantel’s Clapback To Pedro’s Mom
Pedro can be seen venting to his mom in a latest clip of the new episode. He tells her how Chantel does not do anything around the house. Due to this, he says he’s left with all the burden of household chores. His mother had a very sharp reaction, prompting her to ask “what kind of wife” her son had. Besides, she also commented on how Chantel needs to learn how things are done in the Dominican Republic culture. Pedro made multiple comments about Chantel being selfish and thinking that everything was about her.
Chantel quickly commented on the Instagram post, saying that these are all lies. Viewers showed full support for Chantel in the comment section. Moreover, they did not hold back and slammed Pedro and his mom for their offensive statements. Many said Chantel was the breadwinner and didn’t need to contribute to house chores as much. Besides, others commented that Pedro must leave her alone and stop “sh*tting” on her. Moreover, some fans jumped the gun and straight up told Chantel to divorce Pedro.
Chantel had her savage reply. She created some Instagram reels, and we know how fast they can go viral. Chantel showed a spotlessly clean house and wrote, “Cleaning like I’m someone’s maid or mama” referring to Pedro’s previous comments calling her a maid. In another reel, she can be seen cooking delicious food. Moreover, in the caption, she explained how she’s cooking dinner even after a 12-hour shift, but Pedro isn’t interested in staying home long enough to try it. Fans were quick to uplift her confidence and comment how Pedro doesn’t deserve her.
The Family Chantel: Not The First Time Pedro’s Been Unappreciative Of Chantel
In last week’s episode, Pedro joked about firing Chantel as a maid. However, fans did not seem to find it funny. They thought he was being very disrespectful towards Chantel and her contributions.
