Hope And Thomas Lose Douglas To Steffy, Scramble to Get Him Back
When Thomas first brought up the whole custody battle on The Bold and The Beautiful, he was confident that Douglas would choose him over, Hope and Liam. He was functioning from the view that the last time Douglas was living with him in the Forrester Mansion, they had so much fun. Hence, he was sure Douglas would choose the fun dad! On the other hand, Hope and Liam feared that Thomas’ confidence stemmed from some dirty tricks he was hiding for later. However, they were still hopeful that Douglas would choose to continue living with them.
However, Douglas shocked them by not choosing either of them on The Bold and The Beautiful. The little boy requested to be placed with his aunt Steffy instead. Douglas’ decision and the subsequents ruling that granted his wish, broke Hope’s heart. She couldn’t fathom that her son would not live with her anymore and with Steffy instead. On the other hand, Thomas was elated thinking Steffy would never stand in the way of him and his son. However, she completely turned the table on Thomas. She refused to allow Thomas near Douglas, stating that she was responsible for protecting him. Now, both Thomas and Hope have lost his custody. What will they do to fix this situation?
Hope Makes A Shocking Move, Reunites With Thomas On The Bold And The Beautiful
Hope is really drowning in sorrow knowing she has lost her son’s custody on The Bold and The Beautiful. Although it’s not like she can’t visit him at The Cliff House, it still doesn’t even come close to actually living together. A mother can never be at peace knowing her son is out of her sight. Hence, she will decide to do whatever it takes to be able to bring her son back home. Even if it means doing something she otherwise balk at the idea of.
If you think we are hinting towards Hope forming an alliance with Thomas on The Bold and The Beautiful, you are right! The whole reason they are in the predicament is that Thomas put Douglas in a spot where he had to choose between his parents. But he didn’t want to hurt either of his parents feelings. His decision came from a place of love and not despise. Hence, if Thomas and Hope come together and offer Douglas a happy family and a united front, he would rush back to them on the double!
