But he left again as he came in just to give a proper closure to his character’s storyline.

Now, fans are wondering if this truly marks the end or if there is a glimmer of hope for his return. The latter scenario appears more plausible. The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Darin Opens Up About Wyatt’s Return To B&B

In the recent livestream interview with Michael Fairman, Darin Brooks addressed his unexpected comeback to the show and the uncertainties surrounding his character’s future. The Bold And The Beautiful actor had told fans in 2023 that he wasn’t under contract anymore, came back for a short time last week, for just two episodes. Reflecting on the comeback, he said, “So far, that’s kind of the extent of it. It is what it is. I’ve been in this business for a long time, and I know soaps, and I know things change.”

The actor, who spent 10 years on the show, expressed his fondness for The Bold And The Beautiful family. He understands the dynamic nature of soap operas and the constant evolution of storylines. When Wyatt’s storyline seemed to take a backseat, Brooks had a conversation with Executive Producer/Head Writer Brad Bell. Recounting the discussion, he said, “I had a conversation; I just said, ‘Hey, you know, I haven’t really been working lately and all that, are we going to some of Wyatt?’”

B&B/ Wyatt returns

Then later after noticing that he was no longer in the opening credits, Brooks went on social media to update his fans. He let them know that he still had a love for the show and the character. “I just wanted to let everybody know that I love them and the fans that I love them. It’s not over, but it’s, you know, [a] ’till I see you again’ type of deal.” Surprisingly, The Bold And The Beautiful reached out to Brooks for the recent episodes, catching him off guard. “I didn’t expect it, either; I thought that was sort of it after I’d chatted with them and then put the post up there. I thought they weren’t going to use me for anything,” he shared.

When asked if these episodes could be the end of Wyatt’s story, Brooks admitted he wasn’t sure. “I don’t know, maybe they did write that as sort of just a little bit of a goodbye, you know? But I’m not sure. They’re doing different things now [with the canvas], and I get that.” The Bold And The Beautiful actor talked about the challenges of telling stories in a short soap format. “It’s hard to tell multiple storylines in 18, 19 minutes… I understand that there’s only so much time, and there are only so many cast members you can play with.”

B&B/ Flo and Wyatt together

As for Wyatt’s engagement to Flo, Brooks teased with humor, “Flo? Who?” When fans expressed a desire to see him on another soap or in prime time, he jokingly responded, “I’d like to do prime time, guys!” In the unpredictable world of soap operas, it seems Wyatt’s fate hangs in the balance. As Brooks wisely puts it, “It’s not over till it’s over.” Will Wyatt’s unexpected return lead to a new chapter in his storyline? Or is it truly a farewell for the character?
