Hope Spencer is still reeling in heartbreak on The Bold and The Beautiful. When Douglas decided to move in with his aunt Steffy into the Cliff House, everyone consoled Hope that it is only temporary. A child can’t live away from his parents for too long. Hope found some comfort in knowing that Douglas may eventually return home to her. However, every passing day that Douglas spends happily at Steffy’s home takes away a little piece of Hope from the heartbroken mother. The latest The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers suggest that Douglas might soon tire out and take a new decision. Is it what Hope wants to hear, or will it completely shatter her heart?
Douglas Starts To Reconsider His Living Arrangements
The reason why Douglas chose to live with Steffy on The Bold and The Beautiful was to stop his parents from fighting. The little boy couldn’t stand the idea that his parents were once again fighting over him. Moreover, he didn’t want to hurt one parent by choosing the other, thus, he decided against choosing either of them. Once Douglas moved into the Cliff House with Steffy and her family, things became a little brighter for him. He has been having a good time living there.
Douglas loves his cousins, Kelly and Hayes, on The Bold and The Beautiful. Thus, living with his favorite cousins full-time is like a dream come true. That too in a house as picturesque as The Cliff House! However, the novelty of living by the beach will soon wear off, and Douglas will definitely start to miss his older living arrangements. He will start to crave the comfort of his own home. This might lead him to reconsider his wish of staying with Steffy. Does this mean he will go back to Hope? Or will he choose Thomas? Will Douglas Choose Thomas Over Hope On The Bold And The Beautiful?
While Hope would feel like she would be Douglas’ natural first choice on The Bold and The Beautiful, Thomas won’t give up on trying to woo his son either. If the situation arises where Douglas would want to move out of The Cliff House, he would ideally want to live with both his parents. But sadly, that is not possible because Hope is married to Liam and wants nothing to do with Thomas. Meanwhile, Thomas has made a declaration that he is finally ready to turn over a new leaf and has even started therapy. Thomas’ attempts at redemption may have a positive impact on Douglas, and he might want to give his “fun dad” a second chance.
Interestingly, the scene is set for Thomas to return to Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful. If that happens, Thomas will once again be working with Hope, and when Douglas sees that, he may start to yearn for a reunited family with Hope and Thomas both. Perhaps when he tires of The Cliff House, he will choose to move in with Thomas, hoping that his mother would call a truce and give Thomas another chance just like he did.
