The Bold and The Beautiful has had some really groundbreaking changes in the recent past. The biggest of them was Brooke and Taylor, collectively turning their back to Ridge Forrester! Not only did the beauties double-dump him, they sent him away on a soul-searching mission. To go figure himself out and discover what is it that he truly wants! Thus, it has been a while since we saw the dressmaker walk the ground of Los Angeles.
The latest news making rounds is that Ridge Forrester is finally returning to L.A. on The Bold and The Beautiful. Moreover, the bigger news is that he has been recast! Although, the Ridge Forrester on your mind might not be the Ridge Forrester we are talking about! Brooke and Ridge’s son, Ridge Forrester Jr, a.k.a. RJ, is coming home from his European Boarding School! The last time we saw RJ on screen was in 2018, right before he was packed off to Europe. At the time, actor Anthony Turpel was playing the role of the youngster.
Will RJ Bring Brooke And Ridge Back Together On The Bold And The Beautiful?
However, The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers suggest that RJ will now return home a grown adult! The character has been slightly aged and the role is now being taken over by actor, Joshua Hoffman. Reportedly, he will start filming for the role from March 14, 2023, and his episodes will start airing from April 21, 2023. Not too many details have been disclosed yet about his storyline. But it is plausible that the young man will return to help shoulder the family business, but will get embroiled in the family drama instead!
Although we can’t help but wonder if RJ will end up bridging the gap between Brooke and Ridge on The Bold and The Beautiful.
