There has been various speculation on who this new recruit is. The revealed pictures of the coming episode also brought a new face to the floor. The new one seen is Rana Roy as Priya Laghari. Is she the one who Red has hired? It seems so. However, she is also seen to be beside Liz in one of the photos. It indeed makes a confusion whether Priya is with Liz or Red. She definitely is in some link with Red as she has been calling and visiting him.

Liz then gets to know about Red using a special machine to communicate with a Russian handler. This cipher machine is now put on display in a museum.
