Alec Baldwin is still in the Rust trailer after so much has happened. It has been three years since the unfortunate tragedy, but now the film is back. The case was quite sensitive as a cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, lost her life. Fans accused Alec of manslaughtering the film’s cinematographer during the mock shoot. In the show, his wife, Hilaria, also shared that it was painful that a woman lost her life and a son lost his mom.

Alec Baldwin Is Still In The Film, Rust’s Trailer Making Fans Uncomfortable
A while back in the show, The Baldwins, Alec and Hilaria, shared how their life changed after the accidental shooting. As Alec was rehearsing for a scene for the film, Rust, the prop gun, fired and killed Hutchins. People immediately rushed her to the hospital, but to no avail. On March 26, the film’s trailer is finally out after three years since the unfortunate incident.
The trailer depicted Western themes such as vistas, horses, tension, death, and old-timey shootouts. The last one definitely hits the spot. Fans think seeing Alec in action was awkward and uncomfortable, knowing what went on behind it. He came on screen multiple times, so there is no way one will be able to ignore him. The film follows the story of a 13-year-old orphan, Lucas Hollister, who ‘accidentally kills a Kansas rancher’.
Yeah, we are thinking the same thing as you! The protagonist then has to go on the run with his grandfather, an aging outlaw who reemerges to protect the boy. In the end, we can also see how the makers have tried to make amends; they added a credit honor for the late Halyna Hutchins as cinematographer. After the unfortunate accident, Bianca Cline stepped in as the cinematographer.
Furthermore, Halyna Hutchins’ husband, now widower, Matthew Hutchins, appears as Executive Producer. At the end of the trailer, Alec Baldwin also gets emotional as he talks about the accident and his involuntary manslaughter trial in the First Judicial District Court on July 12, 2024.
