Teen Mom premiered in 2008 on MTV. The show followed pregnant teens as they navigated through daily life and their relationships. With its immense success, the network launched several new seasons and spin-offs, and the list of its cast members grew.
Kailyn Lowry, a former Teen Mom, had also appeared on 16 And Pregnant. She is now well into her adulthood and is a mom of 5 soon-to-be-7 kids. Her children have different fathers, but she shares her son Rio and the incoming twins with her current boyfriend, Elijah. And after her pregnancy announcement, Lowry made a recent revelation about her arriving babies, sending the fans into a frenzy.
Teen Mom: Kailyn Shares The Gender Test Results
Having given birth to her son, Rio, less than a year ago, Kailyn had been shocked to know that she was pregnant again. What surprised her further was the news of the new babies being twins. Lowry had confirmed her pregnancy after her Thailand trip.
With the massive revelation making rounds on the internet, fans congratulated the ex Teen Mom. Kailyn had also said that she hoped everything was okay with her pregnancy and that she would be going in for blood work to know the babies’ gender. And it looks like the reports of the test are finally here.
Following the same pattern of the pregnancy revelation, Kail again posted a video on Instagram. It was a clip of her and her Coffee Convos co-host Lindsie Chrisley as they face-timed Kailyn’s boyfriend Elijah to share the test results.
Kailyn seemed nervous as she opened the email, saying – “Ah, I don’t know if I can do this!” Although Elijah had wanted to wait for his sporting event to get over to know the results, his excitement overpowered the reluctance. Kailyn and Lindsie were seen leaning into the screen in the video to read the results.
And then Kailyn’s jaw dropped, followed by her announcing – “They’re boys!”. This sparked a wave of celebration as people in the background cheered, with one voice chiming – “I knew it!”. The former Teen Mom was so in disbelief that she had covered her mouth, obviously in joy.
Kailyn had teased this video as being part of a “3-part mini-series”, adding “you’ll fully understand after part 3” to the caption as well. The fan reaction was something to see. It ranged from cheerful congratulating comments to sarcastic ones like – “Ok hear me out, one more try”, and “7 boys! My uterus just jumped out into traffic.”
Lowry also added a little detail about her twins being “Irish triplets” with son Rio, as they also have the “exact same” due date as him.
Teen Mom: Kailyn’s Big Pregnancy News!
Kailyn Lowry is already a mom of 5 boys. She had recently welcomed a baby boy – Rio – with her current boyfriend, Elijah Scott. The baby’s birth, however, had been kept private, with no public announcement being made.
The former Teen Mom star then shocked the internet when she revealed that she was pregnant again. In an October episode of the Barely Famous podcast, Kailyn announced she was pregnant again, less than a year after Rio’s birth. But that isn’t where the surprise ends.
But it looks like Kailyn is not leaving the limelight anytime soon, as she revealed she is pregnant with twins. Talking about her Thailand trip, she told her podcast guest Allison Kuch that she had returned with “permanent souvenirs.”
