Teen Mom: The Next Chapter Episode 1 RECAP: Cheyenne Floyd Relives A Traumatic Experience
The Next Chapter features most of the OGs, including Briana Dejesus, Ashley Jones, Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, Leah Messer, and more. Their life was changed drastically after they left the screen. Some of them were happily married, while some had a breakup, a few moms were battling a legal case, and certainly, much more drama was going on in their life. Teen Mom: The Next Chapter Episode 1 starts with some of the moms having a video chat showing their interest in the new season. However, Leah, Catelynn, and Ashley were missing from the premiere. Shortly, the moms got busy with their solo lives, and the camera started filming that.
The first episode of The Next Chapter starts with Cheyenne Floyd. She was dealing with a very traumatizing experience. Previously, the Teen Mom star had witnessed a shocking accident. Floyd, with her fiance Zach Davis was in a car when suddenly she noticed a green light that eventually turned out to be a gunpoint light, and suddenly somebody started firing. 13 bullets were shot in their car. Fortunately, no one was injured. Nonetheless, the experience had a major impact on her life, and we saw her dealing with it in the episode.

Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’s camera shifted to Amber Portwood. Although she has now lost custody of her son James, in Teen Mom: The Next Chapter Episode 1, we see her trying to mend things with her daughter Leah. Unlike last year, her daughter invited her to her birthday party, and they enjoyed dinner together. Seemingly, the mother-daughter was getting close on the show. Meanwhile, Jade was still struggling in her relationship with her boyfriend, Sean. The couple has been in and off the relationship, and the show highlights that. She was quite serious about her relationship and had picked up a ring to propose to him. The Teen Mom alum was preparing a surprise for her beau.
On the other hand, Brianna DeJesus wanted to throw a party to celebrate her win over Kailyn Lowry. For the unversed, she won the lawsuit against Kail.
