Reality stars remain famous even after their shows end. They either take up some other businesses or careers. Or they get into trouble with the law. And the Teen Mom cast members are famous for both.
One former cast member, Ryan Edwards, is an avid drug user. And the court even ordered his arrest in a recent case. Now, as Ryan waits for the next case hearing, his rumored girlfriend wants his release. Amanda Conner took to Instagram to voice her demand. But it confused some fans, and some even hated her choice of ‘words.’
Teen Mom: Amanda Wants “Release” Of Ryan
Judge Gary Stanes ordered Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards’s arrest. The MTV star was in the court for a DUI and drug possession case hearing. And there were also reports of him being in a bar fight. The judge lost patience with Ryan’s antics, as he had missed his Vivitrol shot as well. He now awaits in jail for his next hearing.
However, Ryan’s alleged girlfriend, Amanda Conner, was upset. So she took to Instagram to raise her voice against his ‘unfair’ arrest. Conner posted a video on her Instagram account. It was a clip of an unidentified woman before a mug shot. However, Amanda had ‘photoshopped’ Ryan’s prison-orange picture in the mug shot.
In the video, the woman sang a song. And the song demanded to “release” the man in the video, which was now Ryan. Conner’s fans and followers had seen her post. And many noticed that the N-word was also in the song. One user commented that Ryan needed “someone” who positively influenced him.
Another user was just confused. They even commented, asking, “Release your what???”. Apparently, they were confused about how Ryan was related to Amanda. One Teen Mom fan even took a dig at Amanda, calling her “classy.”
Teen Mom: Court Orders Ryan Edwards’s Arrest
When Ryan Edwards went for his recent court hearing, he thought it would be the usual. The Teen Mom star thought he would be back after paying the penalty fine. But the Judge had had enough of Ryan’s drug shenanigans. Judge Stanes had ordered a drug screening after Ryan missed his Vivitrol shot. Edwards’s attorney, Wamp, said that if the star didn’t pass his drug screening, he might have to go to jail.
Since Ryan also ‘participated’ in a bar brawl, the Judge was quite sure he was using drugs. The star’s behaviour irritated Judge Stanes. He reminded Ryan that he had “chance after chance after chance.” But that was the end of Stanes’s patience. He ordered that Ryan be put in prison.
The MTV star had asked the Judge if he could speak. However, the Judge declined his plea. The police officers cuffed and then escorted Ryan out of the court on December 5.
