Ryan and Mackenzie are in the midst of a tough divorce. They are fighting for it in court. But even before that, the Teen Mom stars had many arguments and fights. Ryan might have even threatened Mackenzie for a time or two.
Since Ryan threatened her, Mackenzie wanted a protective order for her and the kids. She was terrified of Ryan. Luckily, the court agreed to a hearing for the order. However, the result of the hearing might not have gone the way the stars expected. It turns out they both have court orders to stay away.
Teen Mom: The Court Has Orders For Both Ryan & Mackenzie
Mackenzie had been scared for herself and her children. Ryan had threatened her both by text and even at her workplace. So, the Teen Mom star took the matter to court. Ryan and Mackenzie are already in the midst of a divorce. The court had initially dismissed their divorce case because of inactivity.
But Mackenzie was sure she wanted to be done with Ryan. So, the star pleaded with the court to reopen the case and succeeded. The two are now fighting the case. While that happens, Mackenzie also wants a protective order against Ryan for her and the kids. She filed for it in March, and the hearing was on April 8, 2024. The order’s hearing took place at the Tennessee Hamilton County Court.
Unfortunately for Mackenzie, the court dismissed the petition “with prejudice.” But it did have some more orders for both the Teen Mom stars. The court ordered “a mutual restraining order” for Ryan and Mackenzie. Thesun revealed that the order means Mackenzie and Ryan can’t contact each other. In fact, the order will stretch for two years. Regarding Ryan’s chance to take his stuff from the family home, the lawyers will “cooperate to establish a time and procedure.”
Apart from Mackenzie and Ryan, their “significant other(s)” are also a part of the order. The court order prohibited Mackenzie and Ryan from contacting each other’s partners/spouses. Additionally, the order also prohibits them from contacting each other’s employers. However, Mackenzie can only communicate with her ex-husband’s family for “visitation with” the kids.
Teen Mom: Ryan’s One Relationship Worsens While Other Strengthens
Ryan’s relationship with Mackenzie might be shambles, but he and Maci are improving. They share a son, Bentley, and the Teen Mom stars are trying to be good co-parents. Since Ryan divorced Mackenzie, his relationship with Maci and Bentley has improved. He and his girlfriend Amanda have also attended Bentley’s sports events.
But the star shocked everyone when he spent Easter with Bentley and Maci. Maci posted a cute reunion photo featuring Ryan, Amanda, Maci, her husband Taylor, and Bentley. She captioned the photo with “Easter Shenanigans” and the hashtag #thingsthatmatter.
