Teen Mom star Nathan Griffith is a notorious figure known for his multiple run-ins with the law. He is currently behind bars for “Attempted Assault By Strangulation” after attacking his sister. Due to his service in the U.S. Marines Corp, the judge initially showed leniency, placing him in the Veteran’s Court program.

Nathan was only required to comply for 36 months with the program rules and policies. However, true to his nature, he broke one of those rules. This put Nathan in trouble, moving his case to District Court. Recently, he was back in court for sentencing. So, what did the court decide? Is Nathan getting out of jail anytime soon? Let’s find out.

In 2023, Nathan pleaded guilty to attaching his sister and was sentenced to the Veteran’s Court Program, requiring compliance with its rules for 36 months.

However, he was expelled from the program after breaking the rule regarding the prohibition of the use of drugs and alcohol. Nathan has been in jail since June. On Thursday, the court sentenced Nathan to a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 48 months in prison.
