Teen Mom: Jenelle Is Making A Comeback On The Franchise
Jenelle is a famous MTV name. She was on the network when she was pregnant with her first child, Jace. But now, Jace is a teenager, and Jenelle is long over the network. These days, she is busy with her ongoing messy divorce from David. Before the two were fighting, they were quite a pair. Jenelle even went so far as to describe David as her “soul mate.” They might have even killed their family dog, as MTV had fired the stars.
But it seems that her Teen Mom banishment days are in the past. There is news that Jenelle is coming back to the franchise. An Instagram account, Teenmomfanz, posted the Next Chapter’s cast list on April 29, 2024. It also had Jenelle’s photo. The caption said the Google search for “the show” revealed “#JenelleEvans” was also on the “#TeenMomTheNextChapter cast.” Further, they said “this” was “a recent change, as Jenelle was not on the list a few days ago.”
The post said the “rumor mill” was churning, saying, “Jenelle is making a return.” She made a cameo in The Next Chapter 2022 but never returned to the show full-time. Some fans think she might be returning soon. But others don’t agree, saying her divorce keeps her busy. A fan even went as far as to comment that MTV would have made “an official announcement.” They added that “a Google search” shows she was there in 2022 as Jenelle “went to Bri’s party.”
Jenelle herself might have hinted at her comeback. She did an Instagram Q&A in which a fan said she would ever come “back to Teen Mom” if “MTV invited” her. The star said she had “no idea,” adding a shrug emoji. So far, Jenelle’s comeback rumor is still a rumor. Even MTV has not announced it.
Teen Mom: MTV Fired David & Jenelle
David and Jenelle had been part of the MTV franchise long ago. However, the network had fired the pair back in 2019 after the killing of their family dog. David had shot the dog, and he and his wife claimed that the crew feared them as a result.
Then The Sun reported that MTV revealed it had “ended its relationship with David” in February 2018. They hadn’t “filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since.” Soon, another announcement revealed that MTV had “stopped filming with Jenelle” on April 6, 2019. They didn’t plan to “cover her story in the upcoming seasons.”
