Mackenzie McKee is a famous star from Teen Mom. And while she has three kids to care for, the star also needs to keep herself healthy. Mackenzie suffers from type 1 – Diabetes. It is also called diabetes hypoglycemia, meaning the pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin.
Due to her disease, the star has a pale appearance and sometimes experiences uncontrollable shaking. Since it is a chronic condition, Mackenzie must be cautious and have a healthy lifestyle. But slip-ups can happen once in a while. And that was the case in one of her recent videos.
Mackenzie shared a video on Instagram where the star was shaking non-stop. She understood what was happening and that her blood sugar was acting up. So, Mackenzie ate an egg sandwich and drank some orange juice while her body shook. And while she was going through it all, her son Broncs was by her side.
The Teen Mom star’s son leaned against her and wrapped his arms around her. While Mackenzie finished her juice, Bronc prayed that his mom “feels better.” The 7-year-old also asked God to heal Mackenzie and thanked him adorably for “orange juice.” Mackenzie captioned the post, saying she lets her kids pray to God. She also asked the Almighty to give a cure for the “Type–1 warriors.”
Teen Mom: Mackenzie Replaces A Cast Member On ‘The Next Chapter’
In a new development, Mackenzie McKee might be appearing on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. An Instagram fan account announced that she will replace Ashley Jones in the new season.
One source close to production shared with the page that the network hadn’t told Ashley about the change. Ashley’s ex-husband, Bar Smith, commented in the post about how shocking this was. He also thanked the fans for “supporting” him and Ashley. However, the star has yet to say anything about the news.
Fans of the show have divided opinion about the change. Some feel it was the wrong decision, saying they won’t watch the show if Mackenzie returns. Others didn’t care much about it.
