The diva has been struggling with her job for the past couple of years. However, after she lost her job, she fell behind in paying taxes. The tax amount has now accumulated over the years into a humongous debt. All her previous liens are still open and unpaid, adding more to her miseries.

Teen Mom sensation Leah Messer has a bumpy beginning with an unexpected pregnancy. Her romantic relationship was also quite questionable. She also has an addiction, which she gradually dealt with. However, problems don’t seem to end for reality TV star. Leah left her job to study for her real estate license. After some time, Leah revealed that she had got the license. She also added that she even got a job.
Leah’s happiness was unfortunately short-lived. After a few months, fans noticed her ‘license’ was inactive. Via an Instagram post, she shared that she was fired from the job due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’ After that, she started looking for potential job opportunities. After some digging, she landed a job as a waitress. She shared with fans that she ‘loved’ the job. But it seems like it is no longer paying the bills.
Teen Mom: Leah Messer Is Under $715K Tax Debt, As She Waits Tables To Sustain
While Leah Messer earlier claimed that she ‘loved’ her serving job, it is clearly pushing her under tax debt. As per reports from The U.S. Sun, Leah, on September 16, 2024, was slapped with a new tax lien worth $32,913 by the state. She was charged with a federal tax lien worth $32,646. The West Virginia court imposed the federal tax in July 2024.
The court’s clerk also revealed that Leah’s past liens are unpaid. All the liens are accumulating, and the Teen Mom star must pay the state amount. Additionally, she also has two liens from February 2024. One amounts to $31,349 and another $163,804. The tax officials also shared that Leah’s 2023 liens are still pending.
As per the clerk, Leah is on due account for two 2023 tax liens as well. One is a staggering federal tax of $290,297. Another accounted for $31,349. Leah also has tex dues from 2020. She has an unpaid federal tax of $123,841. And a tax lien of $9,238. Both of which are from July 2020.
Leah, as of now, has not reacted to the tax liens. But in 2023, she talked about her troubles with taxes. She shared, “I have worked with many different accountants over the years. At first, I was filing and paying more than I was making, and then I was paying people that had me stall while ‘they handled the tax situation.” Well, the reality star is now stuck with a serving jib to pay the amount.
