Teen Mom: Kailyn’s Journey As A Mother Of Seven!
Reality TV star Kailyn Lowry began her motherhood journey in 2010 when she joined MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. At that time, she was in high school and was expecting her first child with her ex-boyfriend, Jo Rivera. Shortly after splitting from him, she married Javi Marroquin in 2012 and welcomed her second child, Lincoln, with him.
Kailyn later had two more sons, Creed and Lux with ex, Chris Lopez. In 2022, she welcomed her fifth child, Rio, with current boyfriend, Elijah Scott. Due to the unplanned pregnancy, she announced departure from Teen Mom 2 after 11 years. She again embraced parenthood with a fraternal twin, Verse and Valley with the same man. Now, Kailyn is a mom of seven, who keeps sharing her parenting journey in her podcasts.
Teen Mom: Is Eight The Perfect Number For Kailyn?
During a podcast episode last year, the former reality star Kailyn Lowry stated firmly that she is planning no more pregnancies. That’s because, she doesn’t want unplanned pregnancies, surprise pregnancies, and surrogacy. With that in mind, the Teen Mom star revealed that following the birth of her twins, the doctor had tied her tubes during the C-section.
Kailyn also mentioned Elijah undergoing a vasectomy for the same reason. She recently spoke about the possibility of adopting a child on her podcast, Barely Famous. She said she might consider exploring an option like adoption, but fostering a child seemed more appealing to her than IVF.
Kailyn explained that fostering would be something she has been more open to compared to IVF, which is a bigger commitment. She thinks that helping a child in need of a home is more important than bearing another of her own. While she discussed the matter more openly this time, she acknowledged that her seven kids are already a lot.
According to Kailyn’s perspective, she believes most people would agree that seven kids is a big number. However, for her, fostering a child in need is a commendable choice which she would love to do. For all latest reality TV updates on Teen Mom, keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers.
