Jenelle was famous for her Teen Mom days. But her current ‘stardom’ is more about her son Jace’s ongoing CPS and child abuse case. But that isn’t where Jenelle’s fame ends. Apparently, the star decided to support her husband David, who is her son’s alleged abuser, and not her son.
The case has been going on since October 2023. And the court has ordered Jace’s removal from his grandmother Barbara’s custody. He was in CPS custody after that. But now Jace has a new caretaker, and they might be related to Jace’s alleged abuse, David Eason.
Teen Mom: Jace Gets A New Caretaker, But They & David Might Be Related
Jace was in the custody of his grandmother, Barbara Evans. But the teen ran away three times, and the cops discovered abuse marks on his body in his last runaway capture. They also found evidence pointing to David Eason being the abuser. And now David is facing charges of child abuse and assault by strangulation.
A new development has occurred in the Teen Mom star’s son’s case. Jace is getting a new caretaker. But the more concerning thing is that the caretaker might have ties with David. A source told The Ashley Roundup that this is a “temporary” arrangement. They also mentioned, “There are plans for Jace to go to another place for the long term.” According to the source, the authorities are monitoring Jace “24/7”, and everything has been well.
The source revealed that “there have been no issues” with Jace and the caretaker. Jenelle had visited Jace at his older locations and did the same with the new one. Jace did not talk much during the initial visits. But he has started talking now as people have insisted upon the importance of having a relationship with his mother. Jenelle has also brought her other kids, Kaiser and Ensley, to visit Jace.
According to the source, Jace didn’t want to return to Jenelle’s home. And the authorities assured him that he wouldn’t have to. However, nothing about his future ‘home’ is clear as of now. The source also revealed that the Teen Mom star and David had wanted Jace to live with David’s sister, April. However, this was back in November 2023, and it was unlikely that would have happened.
Teen Mom: Jace Isn’t So Adamant On Continuing Relationship With Andrew
Andrew Lewis’s appearance in Jace’s CPS case’s December hearing surprised Jenelle and the fans. He further surprised people when they learned the former Teen Mom star wanted to establish a relationship with his son. But there is again a new development. Apparently, Jace doesn’t care about the relationship now.
Jace and Andrew had shown high interest in having a relationship with each other. They had talked on the phone as well. Jenelle had mentioned in her memoir that Andrew had no interest in her or Jace, but then Andrew came back into his son’s life. He had also tried to reach out to his son after Jace’s second runaway attempt. Andrew told Jace he would “always” be there for him.
A source revealed that the father-son duo had exchanged a few letters and calls, but that was it. They also said Andrew had “peaced out.” Both parties are over the relationship’s novelty, and Jace has also lost interest in the relationship.
