MTV’s Teen Mom has an extensive cast list. And while most of these cast members are relatively chill, many aren’t. One such name is Jenelle Evans. The star keeps making regular news headlines. First, she was in a custody battle for her son.
Then, said son ran away, and the cops arrested Jenelle’s husband for abusing her son. Now, there is a new item on her list of troubles. Apparently, her former best friend, James Spivey, is in trouble with the law. There are also cops involved and even murder. Read the article to know more.
Teen Mom: Police Arrests James Spivey For “Shooting” Someone
Jenelle is not having a good year. But now her ‘friends’ are also in trouble. Though this time through their own fault. Her former best friend, James Spivey, is in police custody. The cops arrested the Teen Mom star’s friend for shooting and “kill(ing)” someone.
James shot Coty Allen Gales, a 30-year-old man, in North Carolina. He used a handgun to shoot Coty to death. TheSun confirmed this from the Brunswick County Sheriff’s reports. The cops charged Spivey with first-degree murder. And the statement said that he “unlawfully, willfully, and feloniously did malice of thought.” It ended with charging Spiney of “kill(ing) and murder(ing) Coty Gales.” James is set to appear in the court hearing on December 11.
However, earlier in the day of the shooting, Coty posted a disturbing message on his Facebook profile. He talked about trying “to turn these names in before they find away” to make him look guilty. Coty also mentioned that “they keep stopping” his reports. But he said “it won’t stop” him. So maybe the North Carolina native was already in a ‘brawl’ with someone.
Coty’s cousin started a GoFundMe account to fund his funeral. He wrote that the “family doesn’t have insurance to bury (Coty).” And then the ‘cousin’ requested that they would appreciate “any funds.” Teen Mom Jenelle’s ex-best friend James remains in jail till the hearing.
Teen Mom: Jenelle Receives A Gag Order In Her Son’s Case
MTV star Jenelle Evans has ardently supported her husband, David Eason. The cops had arrested David when Jenelle’s son Jace had accused David of abuse. But Jenelle had stood by her husband, not her child. The Teen Mom star even talked about how the whole story was just “one-sided.
However, her constant supportive messages for Eason on social media have disturbed Jace. And when she commented on Jace’s “mental health,” things escalated. Jace was so “upset” that the court ordered a gag order for Janelle. The CPS had requested the court to do so, keeping in mind Jace’s distress.
Apart from Jenelle, the order also applied to Jace’s biological father, Andrew. Even Jenelle’s mom, Barbara, can’t talk about the case. As she is also a part of the case, she is a recipient of the gag order. The star still stands by what she believes.
