It’s been quite a few years since Teen Mom fans saw Jenelle on TV. She and her former husband, now ex-David, appeared on the show last in 2019. Then, after her inaugural cameo in 2022 for The Next Chapter, she didn’t make a comeback. But lots has changed this year. Viewers spotted her in the brand new episode of this season with her friend Briana DeJesus.
Both these ladies met up, and Jenelle said her life was much better after separating from her ex, David Eason. They had been making headlines for their court case and CPS taking over her son Jace. It happened after he tried to run away from him several times after his mom got “full custody. Jenelle decided to talk about the incident in detail during the meeting.
Jenelle told Briana how the hospital got hold of Jace after he ran away once, and he told them his stepdad David tried to strangle him. After this, the Teen Mom had two criminal charges against his name i.e., one for strangulation and another for child abuse. So, once it was Jace’s time to come home, Jenelle had to kick David out and also got a permanent restraining order.
Evans also had to reveal the reason for getting a restraining order. She said her ex was emotionally abusive, saying things like, “Go cry yourself to sleep, kill yourself, b*tch, your mother doesn’t even love you.” He would also punch holes in the walls. Janelle said David was never physically abusive to her except for that one time he pinned her on the floor and, her collarbone popped out.

In an interview, she also shared when exactly did she leave him. The star said how she had struggled with it from 6 months to a year. She would tell her friends how she was “so over it” and would finally leave David.
But Jenelle couldn’t go through with it. Finally, she found the right opportunity and filed the paperwork. As per the current timeline, she is in the middle of her divorce proceedings with David.
