Teen Mom: Mother Barbara Evans Agrees To Give Jenelle Custody Of Her Kid Jace After Years-Long Battle
Jenelle Evans is a mother of three kids, Jace, Ensley, and Kaiser. Jace is her eldest son and is 14 years old now. But he had been living with Jenelle’s mother since he was born. Barbara obtained custody of the little boy when he was a baby and has fought Jenelle in court multiple times. Recently the former MTV star hinted that she achieved something impossible. According to Ashleysrealityroundup, after a year-long battle, Jenelle finally obtained custody of her oldest son, Jace, from her mother, Barbara Evans.
Also, as mentioned in the paperwork, Jenelle’s mother willingly agreed to give custody of Jace back to her daughter. Their court hearing was held in North Caroline for custody modification for Jenelle and her ex-partner, Andrew Lewis. However, it was unclear whether Jace’s father attended the hearing or not. Barbara hired a lawyer for the case, but she didn’t appear to be contesting custody modification this time.
According to an insider, Jace has become too much to take care of for Barbara, which is why she was willing to give custody to the Teen Mom star. However, custody modification does not appear to be official or has taken effect as of now. Moreover, fans remember that Jenelle almost got custody of her son in January 2021. As mentioned above, Barbara has given back the custody of Jenelle Evans’s eldest son Jace. Amidst all of this, David took to social media platforms to mock the Teen Mom star’s mother. The Ex-MTV star photoshopped a clip of a man sitting on a dirt bike presumed to be a reality TV star. He jokingly mentioned Barbara in the pic as she asked whose “s**t bike” was in the driveway.
David said he was about to ask Barbara for a can of “starter fluid” and a “cold beer”. The person sitting on the bike had done blue jeans and a shirt with collars. Fans found it funny as they know of the estranged history of David and Barbara. Once, the elderly even called David the “worst boyfriend” that Jenelle ever had.
Furthermore, in an episode, Barbara added with tears in her eyes that she was worried about her daughter as her husband kept her like a prisoner.
