Former Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards has had a terrible past of arrests. Currently, Edwards is serving in prison for his past deeds. He even came out of the rehab facility without serving the term. Recently, the former MTV personality is sentenced to serve 11 months and 29 days in prison. He is at Silverdale Detention Centre. Ryan Edwards has violated the court order and is now sentenced to a year in jail. Currently, the Teen Mom alum is in Silverdale Jail for multiple charges. However, according to TheSun, it has a horrifying history. Moreover, it also bagged the title of the “most dangerous place” in the US. Silverdale is owned and operated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. However, the relatives of a deceased inmate sued the place for his death. According to the lawsuit filed against Hamilton County, Silverdale has a history of being a dangerous and badly run jail. Prisoners have stabbed each other with “shanks,” or jail knives, and attacked and hurt victims with their homemade weapons.
Several inmates at Silverdale have also passed away as a result of staff abuse and neglect of their medical needs. Moreover, a prisoner died in 2022, according to the lawsuit. He was in good health on his arrival in the jail in March 2022. However, he lost sixty pounds by the time he was brought to the hospital seven months later. Shockingly, the inmate hadn’t consumed any food or liquids for about a week. Further, his cellmate claimed that they saw him passing out thrice, but the officials didn’t provide any help. Unfortunately, that is not the only instance.

Sadly, the place where the Teen Mom star is staying has a horrendous history of crimes. This is not a single case. Instead, there are many more cases about the place. Undoubtedly, the number of stabbings that occurred, according to the lawsuit, is worrisome. Reportedly, five prisoners also attempted to kill a fellow prisoner on October 5, 2020. It happened after a one-to-two-hour-long attack that left the victim with 73 knife wounds. There were allegations of additional stabbings the following year.
Additionally, in 2022, there were claims of a drug overdose and rape. In another lawsuit filed in 2023, a mother sued the officials of Silverdale on behalf of her deceased son.
