Kailyn Lowry opened up about secretly welcoming her son Rio last year with Elijah on 13 October 2023. Now that Teen Mom fans are aware of her fifth child. She took to her Instagram on Wednesday, 25 October, to share an adorable clip from his baby shower.
The Halloween-themed event took place in October last year. The Teen Mom alum’s Instagram upload is basically a compilation video, mainly preparation shots of the shower. Kailyn gushed in the caption of this upload that it was the ‘sweetest gift.’
She went on to express gratitude for being surrounded by ‘so much love’ at the event last year. The mom of five even added the song ‘Lover’ by Taylor Swift to this upload. The entrance of the baby shower was decorated with a huge fall-colored balloon arch beside a sign that read, “Welcome to Kail and Elijah’s baby shower.”
The clip also showcased various adorable glimpses, like Kailyn exclaiming with pure delight that the event looks ‘like a freaking wedding.’ Beautiful tabletop decorations, a photo booth, and a large buffet, besides an array of delectable desserts.
The former Teen Mom star even requested her guests to keep their phones off to enjoy an uninterrupted event. This has also helped in keeping Kailyn’s pregnancy a complete secret. Several fans rushed to the comments of this upload to praise her guests for respecting her privacy.

The Teen Mom alum was heard discussing her latest hair makeover with her co-host, Lindsie Chrisley. During the conversation, Kailyn admitted that she has an extremely busy schedule till January, so she would not head back to the salon until then.
She went on to reveal that she opted for this look as she wanted “a low-maintenance situation.” This conversation resulted in several fans rushing to an online portal to discuss if Kailyn was hinting toward another pregnancy. One of the Internet users claimed that Kail would have a close-knit schedule, for she is approaching her due date.
